Legend
The boxes are a notation, not decoration. Colour carries meaning. Learning it takes a minute and makes every module faster to read.
Ink · a foundational premise
A claim nearly everyone already accepts. Everything else is built on these.
Why it matters: every axiom states what follows from accepting it.
Verdigris · a study
A finding from peer-reviewed research.
Author (year). Journal, volume, pages.
Weakness — every study card carries one of these. If a card has no stated weakness, the site does not build.
Ink rule · an illustration. Never a study — always an everyday case that makes an abstract idea intuitive.
Red · the best case the other side would make, stated before any reply.
A question that turns the rule back on cases the person already accepts.
Ochre · a fallacy
- Shape
- The form of the bad argument.
- Why it fails
- And what to say instead.
Red wash · where this site's own side is about to overreach.
Dashed · unresolved. A live dispute, a methodological limit, or a value question evidence cannot settle. All of these are collected at Contested claims.
The hidden premiseThe step nobody said out loud. The signature move of the whole site.
